A Book to trust #18 Available in many languages #1

In the previous posting did we see how there are people claiming that the only correct Bible would be the English King James Version. They forget that in such instance all people all over the world should have to know English to come to understand God’s Word. Such an idea would make God into a very discriminatory and cruel person, having first divided the people by giving them different languages and then requiring them all to speak English, or for those who say the sacred text Qurʾān should only be read in Arabic, to know Arabic.

Christians that believe the KJV is the only authorized translation of the Bible either are

  1. so pretentious to think their West Germanic language that was first spoken in early medieval England, the English language, or their American English is the most correct form to present the true Word of God or
  2. they do not trust God that He would take care that His Word would be translated in the many languages the correct way, or
  3. they ignore that throughout time, since 1611, the time of the  completion of the Authorized Version (later to become better known as King James Bible) Biblical archaeologists and researchers have found more (complementing) and important material, giving extra text material for better translations; or
  4. they do not trust the honest position of the many Bible researchers and think all over the world those thousands of educated people cannot do a proper job.

Striking among those who claim that the only real Bible would be the King James Bible, is that they break down all those who use or promote another Bible as apostates or false teachers. some of them consider the others not only false teachers but blame them too to be from the devil or satanists, or to be fundamentalists.

Vake Biblia for example, writes:

A lot of dumb Fundamentalists get all worked up in a tizzy over what they have decided to call “Double Inspiration”. Many fundamentalist preachers like to talk about how they believe the King James Bible, but they claim to not believe that it is “inspired” because that would be “Double Inspiration.” What a true Bible Believer believes is QUADRUPLE inspiration.{the shouting or emphasis is by the blogger of the article – Quadruple Inspiration}

The writer of that article can not see nor believe those writers like many other translators worked under guidance of God and worked on “scripture given by inspiration of God”. Because that is what we should believe, that the Word of God is written down by people, who notated that what God wanted the world to know. Such bloggers who are for the King James Bible only do not believe in the Divine Force of God (the Holy Spirit) providing the fuel for man so that they can come to grow in knowledge and to bring forth fruit through the Word working in the person and the reader and investigator of the Word to receive a born again spirit, meaning that as we contemplate the Word, as we meditate on it, as we pray to have a revelation of it through the Holy Spirit, gradually our born again spirit shall become fully alive within us. Many of those peopple caliming we should only use the original King James Version do not use at all this original Authorised King James Bible and as such nowhere on their website would you find this quote:

2 Timothy 3:14-17 KJV-1611 (14) But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned, and hast been assured of, knowing of whome thou hast learned them. (15) And that from a childe thou hast knowen the holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise vnto saluation through faith which is in Christ Iesus. (16) All Scripture is giuen by inspiration of God, & is profitable for doctrine, for reproofe, for correction, for instrution in righteousnesse, (17) That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished vnto all good workes.

Such KJV-only people do not believe that God would be with those who pray to help them to translate His Word (from Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek or even from other languages). Those KJV-only people can not see that those who have learned and who have known the holy scriptures, in the original language or in an other language, would also receive help from the Most High Elohim enabling their research and work on His Word to make them wise to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.  They seem not to accept that so those people willing to work for God and for Christ might having been trained for every good work. And as such their way of thinking is against the Word of God. With their attitude of only wanting to keep to that version which is based on more limited material (known in the 17th century) than present translations, they work against God, Who wants His Word to be better presented or more understandable to the people.

Against all common sense and historical proof, they go against the knowledge that God His Word has been saved (and taken care of by God Himself) over all the past centuries. Lots of those KJV-only (sincerely?) believe that the originals would have been destroyed and that God made that English copy better than all the other translations which were and are available in the world.

When they say

No one speak Koine Greek, so you’re at the mercy of lexicons. {Why the King James Bible is Better than the Originals}

they not only contradict themselves but give even more reason to believe later versions than the 1611 translation, which was made by the use of different translations,  and with less knowledge of other languages than the scholars of the present day, have to be much better. (Please do remember that we do find the King James Bible a very trustworthy and very good bible translation, but do know there are also many other good translations in English and in many other languages too.)

People should find proof of the fact that many of the KJV-only people are adversaries of Jehovah because they say the KJV only but use an other version than the 1611 edition, namely one which omits the Name of Jehovah in many places and has it and the title God changed into the english word “Lord”, so that there can be made the confusion between the One and Only  One God Jehovah and His only begotten son Jesus, so that it would fit better their false teaching of the Trinity.

They even go so far to say that King James Bible Versions that write

“Yehovah” or “Jehovah” or “Yahweh” or “Yahuwah”

were is written in the Authorised Version or original King James Version

“IEHOVAH”

and where is written

“Jeshua” or “Yahushua” or “Yeshua”

where is written

“Iesus”

would be false Bibles whilst theirs would not be false though their version has

“Lord”

written were the original King James Bible has

Iesus

written. So we ask you

Who is more close tot he original King James version, the one writing “Jesus” or Jeshua” (the original name of Christ Jesus)  or “Yeshua (the Old English form of Christ’s original name) or the ones who claim their version to be the only right King James version, though they write “Lord” where the King James Version has “Iesus”?

The King James version not saying “Lord” but speaking of

“the saluation of God” and “beloued sonne”, “the sonne of Ioseph, which was the sonne of Heli,”

and nowhere says Jesus would be

“God the Lord” or “The Lord God”.

Clearly those KJV-only people trying to intimidate and to belittle those who use and/or produce other versions, have their own agenda in promoting their teaching of the Trinity, whilst other versions might make it easier to come to know the difference between “Iesu”/”Iesus” or “Jesus” and “Iehovah” or “Jehovah”.

Often KJV-only people find their version is the best and only true one because

Millions saved reading King James {Why the King James Bible is Better than the Originals}

not seeing or knowing that in other languages, like in Hebrew, Chinese and Arabic, there are many more millions of copies of the Word of God than in the King James Version. They also say

Only one original.

but they themselves do not use a copy of that “Only one original” and even dare to use versions with not only use other spelling but also have other wordings in it as well, though they make a fuss about the spelling of other versions (though those versions keep to the same wording as the original)

Some, like the writer of Vake Bbilbia even goes so far to say the other bibles are false ones because there things would be introduced which are not in the original Scriptures, like

though such claimants use themselves also a version with those extras.

Most funny is the following reasoning why the English King James Bible is the Only True one:

Why God picked English

There must be a final authority. Deut 25:13-16

  • Must be Protestant
    • Spain and France had their chance.
  • Worldwide
    • 1.2 Billion English speakers.
    • 2 Billion by 2030.
    • 50% of European Union, 85% of Israel.
  • Must be connected to a King. (Ecc 8:4)
    • Antichrist has mouth like lion.  Lion connected to England. (Rev 13:2)
  • England connected to absolutes.
    • Time- Greenwich Mean Time.
    • Location – Longitude measured from Prime meridian in Greenwich, UK.
  • Miscellaneous language characteristics.

Concerning “Being Protestant” they forget that there are many protestants using different English Bibles too: lie the Luther Bible, Calvin Bible, Anglican Bible translation etc., so which is the only right protestant church, when by some of those different protestant denominations, be them Trinitarian or Non-trinitarian, we do find them using the original King James Version or a closer to the original one than the ones those KJV-only people are using ?

They forget that there are much bigger language groups than English (e.g. Chinese). though Spanish has diminished and it is estimated that more than 437 million people speak Spanish as a native language (much more than English speaking people), which qualifies it as second on the lists of languages by number of native speakers, plus in the European Union some 418 million also speaking Spanish, it is estimated about 3,5 billion speak Spanish as lingua franca.

Ethnologue puts the number of native speakers at almost 1.2 billion native speakers, roughly a billion of whom speak Mandarin — but there’s no doubt it’s the most spoken language in the world. In the European Union  the last few years Spanish as lingua franca may have been exchanged for English, but the last decade English as the lingua franca of business, travel and international relations gets more and more exchanged for Mandarin Chinese.

The defenders of the KJV-only claiming God having chosen that version because of the language most spoken also do overlook the other more chosen languages like Hindustani  and Arabic, of which there also may be used many different forms or dialects. Next we may not forget some other important international spoken languages like Portuguese, Bengali and Russian, which also have the Word of God in their language. To say God would not have wanted to give them His Word in their language but had given it to a minor language group (though English for us might, next to Chines and Russian, be the most important one) is again making of God a selective Being with some strange preferences. Or such attitude of thinking their language is the most important can be a remnant of English imperialism or a megalomania.

Though Vake Biblia himself seems to know God His word shall never pass away he seems to forget those important words of the King James Version

Matthew 24:21-28 KJV-1611 (21) For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor euer shall be. (22) And except those dayes should be shortned, there should no flesh be saued: but for the elects sake, those dayes shall be shortned. (23) Then if any man shall say vnto you, Loe, heere is Christ, or there: beleeue it not. (24) For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shal shew great signes and wonders: insomuch that (if it were possible,) they shall deceiue the very elect. (25) Behold, I haue told you before. (26) Wherefore, if they shall say vnto you, Behold, he is in the desert, goe not foorth: Behold, he is in the secret chambers, beleeue it not. (27) For as the lightening commeth out of the East, and shineth euen vnto the West: so shall also the coming of the Sonne of man be. (28) For wheresoeuer the carkeise is, there will the Eagles bee gathered together.
