Main verses in the Bible telling us Who God is #7 The Stronghold and Rock God a Refuge and strong Shield and Tower

Knowing that Jehovah God is One God (Deuteronomy 6:4-9), the Holy One of Israel, greater than all gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly He was above them (Exodus 18:11), He also is the One in Whom we can trust, Him being the strength of man, their stronghold, a shield, and horn of salvation, fortress, and the deliverer for those who trust in Him and look at Him as their high tower, their refuge, their saviour (2 Samuel 22:3; Psalm 18:2).

The God Whose Way is unerring and perfect, His Words flawless and tried, He is a buckler or shield to all them that are willing to trust in Him and want to take refuge in him (2 Samuel 22:31).

We have to stand strong with the belt of truth buckled around our waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with our feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace (Ephesians 6.14-15) in the knowledge that God is One and for One God for all.
