Who are the anti-Jehovah people

Having looked at what the Bible tells about יהוה (Jehovah God) you could see how the Book of books, the Bible is clearly giving an image of Who and How God is and what to expect from Him.

We could say that, after one has read the whole Bible (Old and New Testament) and when one has given great attention to the highlighted Bible verses in the end of the matter; all should been heard and man should have come to “see God” but also come to “fear God“, and come to see, understand and accept His set-apart or holy Word, having to come keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man. (Ec 12:13)

Though you could say man should be able to hear the conclusion of the whole matter, being it the duty of all people, they should come to recognize Jehovah God to be the Only One True God, and nobody like Him. Everybody should come to love the Most High Lord above all lords Who is Only One God above all and King above all gods or idols, with all their heart, and with all their soul, and with all their mind. (De 6:5; Mt 22:37-40)

Ecclesiastes 12:13 (RNKJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear Elohim, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Deuteronomy 6:3-7 (RNKJV)
3 Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as יהוה Elohim of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey. 4 Hear, O Israel: יהוה is our Elohim, יהוה is one: 5 And thou shalt love יהוה thy Elohim with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. 6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: 7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

In this world there are people who love that Only One True God and by their love for Him also witness for Him. It is that witnessing that makes others cross. Though all Christians should know nobody may withhold the Good News. But those who are against Jehovah people want others to believe those non-trinitarians not to be according the main stream Christian teaching and being people of the devil. It is their hate against people who only want to worship Jehovah as their only god which makes them so cross with them. They do forget that Jehovah should be our only One God Who is One.

Deuteronomy 6:4-7 (RNKJV)
4 Hear, O Israel: יהוה is our Elohim, יהוה is one: 5 And thou shalt love יהוה thy Elohim with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. 6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: 7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

Jeremiah 10:10 (RNKJV)
10 But יהוה is the true Elohim, he is the living Elohim, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.

Zechariah 14:9 (RNKJV)
9 And יהוה shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one יהוה, and his name one.

Those anti-Jehovah people (and those behind anti-Jehovah sites) can not stand it that those non-trinitarians do not want to worship Jesus as their god.

Most of those anti-Jehovah people seem to belong to Evangelical groups, or being part of very conservative groups, like a.o. the Tea Party, or belonging to the American Republicans, but we also do find many Neo-Nazis taking a big stand against lovers of Jehovah God.

By the English speaking population we also find those who claim that only the King James Bible is the only right bible people should us and consider as the Word of God. Those King James Bible Only people do seem to forget that the Almighty God wants all people, not only English speaking people to hear His Word. They also seem not to believe that the Most High Supreme Spirit Being is capable enough to protect His Own Word and provide true versions in many languages.
Many of those English speaking people do not seem to know that Jesus is not the proper name of the Nazarene Hebrew, Jewish master teacher. They often also do not see the difference between a title and a name and do not understand nor accept that Allah is a general title for the Singular God (hence no plural form for the ExaltedAllah”, which means God) in many other languages than their own mother tongue.

What is striking about anti-Jehovah people is that they cannot distinguish between the very different Biblical characters Jehovah and Jeshua (Jesus Christ)  They seem to forget or not willing to accept that the Bible is the infallible Word of God that teaches that God is One immortal or eternal and an unseen Spirit Being Who does not tell lies. Opposite Him (Jehovah God) stands the man who had a birth and a death (being a mortal being) who unlike God was seen by many and did not know everything (whilst God is an all-knowing God)

1 Timothy 1:17 (RNKJV)
17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise Elohim, be honour and glory for ever and ever.

Isaiah 40:28 (RNKJV)
28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting Elohim, יהוה, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

Those anti-Jehovah people also do forget that for God the world should know that there is Only One God Host of hosts, Who has only One Name, Who has set to be apart or made holy and that is His Name Jehovah. People should call on that Holy Name and not to profane it, what people would do when they give their god also other names.

Ezekiel 38:23 (RNKJV)
23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am יהוה.

Zechariah 14:9 (RNKJV)
9 And יהוה shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one יהוה, and his name one.

Exodus 9:16 (RNKJV)
16 And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.

Exodus 9:16 (RNKJV)
16 And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.

Deuteronomy 10:17 (RNKJV)
17 For יהוה your Elohim is the mighty one of the elohim, and Sovereign of sovereign, a great El, mighty, and terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh bribes:

The anti-Jehovah people are those who instead taking Jehovah as their only True God want others to believe in and worship their god Jesus, forgetting or not willing to accept that this Jesus was declared by God Himself to be His only begotten beloved son and that this man of flesh and blood had a birth, a death (as such being mortal whilst God is immortal) and was seen by many people who did not fall death, whilst no man can see God and live.

Exodus 33:19-20 (RNKJV)
19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of יהוה before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. 20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.

John 4:24 (RNKJV)
24 Elohim is Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Luke 24:36-43 (RNKJV)
36 And as they thus spake, Yahushua himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. 37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. 38 And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? 39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. 40 And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet. 41 And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat? 42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. 43 And he took it, and did eat before them.

Matthew 3:17 (RNKJV)
17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Those anti-Jehovah people do not want to see that Jesus was sent by God, Who bore witness of him.

John 5:37 (RNKJV)
37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

Mark 1:11 (RNKJV)
11 And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

John 1:32-34 (RNKJV)
32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. 33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Spirit. 34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of יהוה.

Unfortunately, those anti-Jehovah people from extreme right-wing groups and fundamentalist or very conservative Christian groups also mislead others with their unbiblical thoughts and know how to sow hatred against those who worship Jehovah as their Only True God.

The anti-Jehovah people are people who do not want to recognise the way of speaking of the Hebrew Scriptures and want to bring their literal view and human doctrines over unto others. Several of them also do not recognise science and historical development and seem to refuse any logic thinking. They are so caught up by the many false human and philosophical thoughts of Greek, Roman and theological writers of the past centuries, instead of using the Word of God as it is brought to us, taking the words for what they stand.

Lots of people who do not like Jehovah’s Witnesses and other witnesses for Jehovah are annoyed by those lovers of God by whom they feel limited in what they may do. For many, it is very disturbing that true followers of Jesus should still abide by the Laws of God and keep aloof from pagan customs, traditions and rites.

Jesus was a faithful follower of Jehovah God. He asked his followers to love God and His creation, like he did, and to distance themselves from worldly customs.

Psalms 96:4-7 (RNKJV)
4 For יהוה is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all elohim. 5 For all the elohim of the nations are idols: but יהוה made the heavens. 6 Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. 7 Give unto יהוה, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto יהוה glory and strength.

Psalms 74:10 (RNKJV)
10 O Elohim, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?

Psalms 74:18 (RNKJV)
18 Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O יהוה, and that the foolish people have blasphemed thy name.

Galatians 4:8-11 (RNKJV)
8 Howbeit then, when ye knew not יהוה, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods. 9 But now, after that ye have known יהוה, or rather are known of יהוה, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? 10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. 11 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

The anti-Jehovah people do love the world more than the commandments of God.

John 15:18-19 (RNKJV)
18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

1 John 2:15-17 (RNKJV)
15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world–the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life–is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of YHWH abides forever.

Those those who blacken the real followers of Jesus and worshippers of the One True God are formed according to this system of things and not after the biblical teaching.

Romans 12:2 (RNKJV)
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of יהוה.

Those who are anti-Jehovah people are either atheist or belong to the groups mentioned above, but can also be those who prefer to believe in the Trinity-teaching in which they grew up. For them it is a fundamental doctrine of their faith – that God would have stepped out of heaven and would have taken upon human flesh. Most of such preachers do not allow reactions to their writings, because they fear contradictions with their theorem.
For all of those anti-Jehovah people Jesus Christ took upon himself humanity. Some say

He did not take it while He was here on earth and then laid it aside when He went back to heaven. He took His humanity back to heaven with Him. For all eternity Jesus Christ will be a man. {The Anointed one – Christos}

Often they twist the Words of the Bible and place something totally different than can be found in God’s Word. By those trinitarians it might be not on purpose, but them not allowing people to react on what they have written may let us wonder whey they do not allow any reaction underneath their article. Just one example here:

whitedoveinspiration claims the Bible would say Jesus is God having come in the flesh and offers underneath verse to proof it

First John 4:2 says, “Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.” {The Anointed one – Christos}

But when looking at the actual text, the bible does tell something totally different than they want us to believe it would say

1 John 4:2 (RNKJV)
2 By this you know the Spirit of YHWH: Every spirit that confesses that Yahushua the Messiah has come in the flesh is of YHWH,

The text is not saying Jesus is God. It is even not saying Jesus is of God. It is indicating that those who confesses, that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh, is from God. It are the believers who are of God when they believe Jesus is the Kristos or Christ, the anointed and promised one having come in the flesh.

1 John 4:2-3 (WPNT)
2 By this the Spirit of God is known: every spirit that acknowledges Jesus Christ as having come in flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that doesn’t acknowledge Jesus Christ as having come in flesh is not of God; indeed, this is the spirit of the Antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming—actually, it is already in the world right now.

Lots of trinitarians may not fully understand what “revealing” means (see for example God Revealed) or may not see clear because their mind is troubled by the many false human doctrines. They are just “blinded ones”, for whom we should have compassion and hope they will come to see the biblical truth and shall come to love the Only One True God.

A last group of anti-Jehovah people can be found by those who had a very bad experience in the religious group of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Lots of people who left that American organisation do not make enough effort to look for other real followers of Christ and worshippers of the Only One True God. Often they are so caught up in the false teaching of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society that they would be the only ones who worship Jehovah, that they really think no other church would have similar teaching as their church. It is a pity that they go not looking for other denominations which are on the same line of thinking, keeping to The One God Who is One.

Worst of all is that many of those ex-Jehovah’s Witnesses are so disillusioned that they do not want to know any more about God and commandments. They are often as ‘new atheists,’ the worst attackers of religious thinking. In the same line as the ex-Jehovah’s Witnesses can be found anti-Jehovah people who come from a Jehovah’s Witness (JW) family but have never been a member of that American religious group. Often they put all Jehovah people on the same line as the people who are a member of the JW’s, though a greater majority does not belong at all to the Jehovah’s Witnesses, but are members of other and different Bible Students groups, or member of one of the many schism groups of the JW WTBTS community, ( ex-JW groups like the Nazarene friends). Strangely enough many who have a lot of psychological problems with that JW-Organisation come from families where there has been abuse, something one normally would not expect in a true Christian family. Their disgusting experience and often the shunning which one can find in the JW-Organisation makes them going against JW and all those who defend the faith in Jehovah. Such abuse is often taken by the aggressive anti-Jehovah people (like Dave Norris) to undermine such religious groups and to ad further absurd accusations which don’t make sense.

  1. You write an interesting article. Thank you for stopping by my blog and linking to it. However, I have a question. How do you account for Jesus receiving worship in Hebrews 1:6, Philippians 2:10, Matthew 14:33, Matthew 2:2?
Only God is supposed to receive worship, Deuteronomy 6:13, Luke 4:8. If Jesus is not God, then He should not have received that worship or else He is guilty of blasphemy. If He was truly guilty of blasphemy, then He would be guilty of sin and He was supposed to be without sin. Also in Mark 2:5-10 Jesus forgives sin, which only God is allowed to do. Jesus forgave sin and accepted worship, both things that only God can do. The Pharisees killed Him because He claimed to be God and did what only God could do.
I would appreciate it if you could please answer this question I have. Thank you.

    1. Thank you for your reaction. Sorry for our late reply (having been abroad not having internet).

Hebrews 1:6 tells us that “When God was about to send his firstborn Son into the world, He said, “All of God’s angels must worship him.”. We should recognize the prepared body (Heb 10:5)and nothing would be wrong with giving honour to the one who gave his own body as a ransom payment for their sins. Nothing is wrong with giving Jesus honour for him putting his own will aside to do the Will of his heavenly Father. The angels who “minister for those who shall be heirs of salvation” (Heb 1:14) have been instructed to pay Jesus homage  —  “let the angels of God worship him.” (Heb 1:6). By respecting what Jesus has done for us it does not say we have to take him as our god or that he would be God. All over the world people shall have to come to know Jesus his name (Jeshua) and true in the world many will kneel (Philippians 2:10) in the same way as the men in the boat bowed down in front of Jesus and said, “You are truly the Son of God.” (Matthew 14:33) Remark what they really say! They do not consider Jesus to be God, but the talmidim recognize Jesus as the “son of God” like God Himself declared Jesus to be His only begotten son (Matthew 3:17: 17 (NIV) And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”; Matthew 17:5: Mt 17:5 While he was yet speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold, a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.; Mark9:7: And there came a cloud overshadowing them: and there came a voice out of the cloud, This is my beloved Son: hear ye him.; Luke 9:35 And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is {1 } my Son, my chosen: hear ye him. {1) Many ancient authorities read my beloved Son; See Mt 17:5; Mr 9:7 }; John 3:16: 16 (NIV) “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, {Or his only begotten Son } that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.)

The Bible tells us that God is not a liar. In case God would have come down to fake His temptation, the bullying, torturing, death and resurrection (to what cause) why would He not have said so or why would He have called Himself His beloved son? Why also would He have to glorify Himself when from the beginning God could have made it clear that He was the one to come down on earth. Such acting after so many centuries and after the so called saving having the people still suffering would make of God a very cruel being and when we not have a man having stepped out of the dead we still have no proof that man can be resurrected from the dead.

We should believe the Voice out of haven Who also said: I have both glorified it(the name of Jesus), and will glorify it again. (Joh 12:28)

Concerning the English (limited) translation or used word “worship” limiting to “Praying to” not seeing it also as “giving adoration”or “giving recognizance”, like it is translated in other languages makes it very confusing for English readers.

Deuteronomy 6:13 says: “Fear the LORD (= Jehovah, the God of thy fathers), your God, serve him only and take your oaths in his name.” which could mean we only should serve Him. Though as you know you also have to serve your partner, people around you, your boss, etc.The intention of the saying is that we have to walk after Jehovah our God, and fear him, and keep His commandments, obeying His voice, serving Him, loving and cleaving unto Him. (De 13:4)

God and His son talk about away of serving being more than the serving we do here on earth to other people, to Christ, but should present our services to God, the Most High.

Concerning the forgiveness of sin you think, because Jesus says the sins are forgiven, that it is he who forgives the sin, but Scriptures make it clear that it is God Who does the forgiving;Jesus as authorized one of God may say what is going to happen and might say people to come to see or walk, but it is not him who let them walk or see, like it were not the apostles who also let others do miraculous things and also said people their sins were forgiven, the same as so many priests and ministers still say that today. (Do you consider such priests or ministers than also to be God?)

Jesus never claimed to be the Most High Elohim. Jesus was well aware of his own position, knowing that his heavenly Father was superior and that he could do nothing without Him.

“ Jesus gave them this answer: “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.” (Joh 5:19 NIV)

“ Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me.” (Joh 8:42 NIV)

“ Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. “You heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe. I will not speak with you much longer, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold on me, but the world must learn that I love the Father and that I do exactly what my Father has commanded me. “Come now; let us leave.” (Joh 14:27-31 NIV)

By recognizing the position of Jesus Christ, accepting what he really has done (putting his own will aside to do the will of God (in case he is God he would have done always his own will) we may give him our respect and honour him.
Hopefully this reply gives some more insight in the matter.

      With kind regards.

      1. Thank you for taking the time to respond. I can understand where you are coming from, even though I cannot fully agree with you. You do have some interesting thoughts on it. May God richly bless you in all that you do for Him.
