A Book to trust #14 Writings to show The God #1 The I Am that I Am

For years the Bible and the interpretation of it has been a cause of contention or dispute, especially a public one, between sides holding opposing views. The contentious speech act it manages to create arguments, expressing disagreements with one another, heavy debates, philosophical arguments over the nature of existence and over God and our position in the creation.

Many of those people who are against Jehovah and His faithful followers want to prove the Only One true God the Elohim Hashem Jehovah Who is One, to be false or wrong. They refute a singular spirit Being that can not be seen by man and invalidate the teachings of the Holy Scriptures of there only being One God who is One and the heavenly Father of us all and of Jesus Christ. The anti-Unitarians or anti-Non-trinitarians bear out to spread the idea that The God would be a three-une being or three-headed god of which Jesus is the second godhead (a god son) and could be seen as a divine man. They give the lie to, or rebut, the Bible saying that God is One.

From onset in the Book of books there is spoken about That God, no man can see, Who brought order in the chaos, showing the world He is a God of order.

Genesis 1:1-5 (RNKJV)
1 In the beginning Elohim created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Elohim moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And Elohim said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And Elohim saw the light, that it was good: and Elohim divided the light from the darkness. 5 And Elohim called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Exodus 33:18-23 (RNKJV)
18 And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. 19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of יהוה {Jehovah} before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. 20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. 21 And יהוה said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: 22 And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: 23 And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

It is not because The God can not be seen that He could not be experienced or felt and heard. The Bible tells us the story of the Divine Creator God and how He created man and the animals around man.

Genesis 2:4 (RNKJV)
4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that יהוה Elohim made the earth and the heavens,

Genesis 2:7 (RNKJV)
7 And יהוה Elohim formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

To that created living soul of humankind The Creator God gave a command, i.e. a task to follow up.

Genesis 2:15-20 (RNKJV)
15 And יהוה Elohim took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 16 And יהוה Elohim commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. 18 And יהוה Elohim said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. 19 And out of the ground יהוה Elohim formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. 20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

That man could hear God we first come to know by hearing about God giving them tasks and forbidding them to eat from the Tree of knowledge of good and evil. We also come to read how after they had eaten from the forbidden fruit they heard the Voice of God walking in the Garden.

Genesis 3:8 (RNKJV)
8 And they heard the voice of יהוה Elohim walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of יהוה Elohim amongst the trees of the garden.

To hid oneself from the presence or hiding from the Face of Jehovah means that man can feel the presence of God and can feel how He watches man.

Genesis tells us about the origin the universe and its habitants (man and animals) and the origin of sin. In contrast to man God is a Spirit Being and as such has no flesh, blood or bones, like man has. In the messianic Writings man is told that Jesus is not such a Spirit like his heavenly Father.

Luke 24:39 (RNKJV)
39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

John 4:24 (RNKJV)
24 Elohim is Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Clearly the Bible tells man that the Elohim Hashem is Spirit and when looking at the report of the Genesis we can see that He is from eternity, not having had a beginning or birth. It was only later in history that this God Who is true, makes true decisions and does not tell lies, declared His Name.

Psalms 19:7-9 (RNKJV)
7 The law of יהוה is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of יהוה is sure, making wise the simple. 8 The statutes of יהוה are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of יהוה is pure, enlightening the eyes. 9 The fear of יהוה is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of יהוה are true and righteous altogether.

Psalms 93:5 (RNKJV)
Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O יהוה, for ever.

Psalms 119:152 (RNKJV)
Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.

John 3:33 (RNKJV)
He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that Elohim is true.

Romans 3:4 (RNKJV)
4 By no means: yea, let יהוה be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

The Bible uses a wealth of terms and images to describe God’s truth. Consider this bit of a poem written by Moses:

Deuteronomy 32:4 (RNKJV)
4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: An El of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

And the psalmist let us known

Psalms 100:5 (RNKJV)
For יהוה is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

From out of space, out of the heavens, it is יהוה Jehovah God His Voice Which sounds and lets us know that He is The Being, which means that without His Being there is no being at all.

Exodus 6:2-3 (RNKJV)
2 And Elohim spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am יהוה: 3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of El-Shaddai, but by my name יהוה was I not known to them?

Exodus 3:6 (RNKJV)
6 Moreover he said, I am the Elohim of thy father, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Isaac, and the Elohim of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon Elohim.

Exodus 3:13-15 (RNKJV)
13 And Moses said unto Elohim, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The Elohim of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? 14 And Elohim said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. 15 And Elohim said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, יהוה Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Isaac, and the Elohim of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

It is up to all people to listen to the Words spoken by That Voice Who said

I am the one being or I Am Who I Am.

Notice how the Elohim does not just say

I Am

like many trinitarians think and consider when Jesus also says

I am

like we too say more than once

I am

that this would be a sign that this person saying that (Jesus, but then also all others who would say so) would be God. Though clearly there is only One God to Whom may be given praise and His Name glorified. The One Who proclaimed

: I wyl be what I wyll be {Exodus 3:14 Coverdale}

or

I shall be that shall be {MEV}

or

I Will Become whatsoever I please. {Exodus 3:14 EBR}

Psalms 68:4 (RNKJV)
Sing unto Elohim, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name YAH, and rejoice before him.

Always remembering that The God Himself Is the Being.

Exodus 3:14 (LXXE)
14 And God spoke to Moses, saying, I am THE BEING; and he said, Thus shall ye say to the children of Israel, THE BEING has sent me to you.

He is the godhead Who on more than one occasion in the Bible let Himself be known as The One Who is and Who will be what He is and that He will be.
