A Book to trust #6 True God and true words

The Bible can only be a trustworthy book if the Author of it is a verity and always telling the Truth. When the Maker or Giver of the Words does not exist than we are only confronted with several writers telling us all sorts of things which might be or might not be true or just fantasies.

We as human beings all dare to construct our own truths, and the word “truth” itself is in such instance only a placeholder, or we could say that truth isn’t really anything “out there.” You could say

“Truth” or “reality” is simply a social construct, a shared imaginative enterprise that enables us to live together peacefully. Thus, truth isn’t necessarily what an individual makes it, but what a society makes it. {A Deeper Look at What the Bible Says about Truth}

Human beings need conformity to fact or actuality, we have to face reality even when we do not like it. Concerning the truthiness of the book of books we have to believe first that there is a Supreme Being that by His Words created and continued to feed the world with His Words. To come to see the truth of words one has to see the fidelity to a required standard or law.

Some two thousand years ago there was a man of flesh and blood every one could see, who spoke about a Being no one was able to see, otherwise they would die. That man with very good speech skills also hoped those who listened to him would come to know Him, the only true God, and the one whom This God had sent. For that Nazarene preacher it was clear that the one who had sent him was not only a true God but also a God telling the truth.

John 17:3 (TS98)
3 “And this is everlasting life, that they should know You, the only true Elohim, and יהושע Messiah whom You have sent.

The Jewish rabbi Jeshua, in english speaking countries better known as Jesus Christ, who changed history of humankind, mentions his heavenly Father to be the “true” God, which does not mean that all other gods would be false. God is just a title and not a name. God is a title for an important person or being (like angels who are also called god in the bible) or given to people with a high function, like pharaohs.  Naturally there are also false gods, which are the people but also things which are placed in a higher position than they really may receive and who often then get worshipped.  The inspired scriptures when speaking of faithful angels, prophets, God-appointed judges, kings, and magistrates clearly calls them “gods” on occasion. These are called “gods” in the sense of faithful servants of God, representing the true God of gods.

In the same manner with the book of books we are seeing there are mentioned several prophets, of which some of them are being called the `true prophet’, that should mean that the person so described is truly a prophet. In either case this certainly does not have to mean that all other prophets must be false. Even if it was said that this one was the “only true Prophet,” we would probably consider him the only prophet in the Highest of the word, but that still would not make All other prophets of God False prophets.

When we talk or the book of books talks about “the true God“, it means there is been spoken about  an exclusive title for God, the Most High, only true God or Allah, the Elohim Hashem Jehovah. And clearly it refers exclusively to the heavenly Father to whom Christ Jesus also prayed. No one else is the God or the True God  the Most High Elohim which means no one can be as high as Him or equal to Him.

Psalms 86:10 (TS98)
10 For You are great, and are doing wonders; You are Elohim, You alone.

2 Kings 19:19 (TS98)
19 “And now, O יהוה {Jehovah} our Elohim, I pray, save us from his hand, so that all the reigns of the earth know that You are יהוה Elohim, You alone.”

Isaiah 37:17 (TS98)
17 “Incline Your ear, O יהוה, and hear. Open Your eyes, O יהוה, and see. And hear all the words of Sanḥĕriḇ, who has sent to reproach the living Elohim.

In this world we see and hear a lot of people blaspheming This living God, by denying Him but also by twisting His Words and telling not the Biblical truth but telling to what they call the truth but which is the human doctrinal dis-truth. By making or praising other gods as the God, they speak of God or a sacred (set apart) entity in an irreverent, impious manner, showing disrespect for Jehovah God or an other divine being (like Jesus). Also by making pictures or graven images of their idols of gods or even by using or worshipping images so called  representing The God, they become blasphemers.

We should know those people and those denominations their words are not bringing the truth but are distorting the truth. In your life you shall have to make the choice either to listen to the truth told in the bible, which we consider the infallible Word of God, or if you prefer to listen and to keep to the words of the Distorters and perverters of the truth?
